I get asked regularly during my talks if it’s worth buying a car in the U.S. Recently CBC Marketplace reported that a Dodge Caravan, made in Brampton was less in the U.S. than in Canada. I was browsing the local (U.S.) newspaper this weekend, specifically the new car section when I came across this ad…notice that it’s not a “one of” loss leader but they have 16 at this price.
Of course I had to do some comparison shopping. The closest I could find in year, specifications and options was from a Toronto Chrysler Dealer, this one is used, a “Previous Chrysler Rental” with 31,000km posted on Kijiji.
So we are talking $8,000.00 difference for a New car compared to a USED CAR. Is it worth the time and hassle? YOU BET YA!
