Last weeks Throne Speech promised, among other things, to take steps to close the gap between prices for goods purchased in Canada as compared to the United States. In the next few Blogs I’m going to focus on some of the points to drive home why we cross-border shop. Today’s is on booze!
And our Government will amend the Importation of Intoxicating Liquors Act to allow Canadians to take beer and spirits across provincial boundaries for their own use.
This means that we in Ontario can now legally shop in Quebec for liquor and bring it back to Ontario.
